Eco-focused couples resort in Aruba allows guests to opt-in to conservation program with in-room 'Green Button'

Bucuti & Tara Beach Resorts, Aruba’s premier resort for couples and one of the greenest in the Caribbean, has added a new feature to its expansive environmental program, Inncom’s Glass Series Guest Interface Device Suite. The device is an eco-friendly, central control system that allows guests to opt-in to the resort’s conservation program with just the touch of an aptly named “Green Button” that controls the lights, thermostat and humidity of guestrooms.

A delicious day on De Palm Island for cast of D'Licious!

Lionfish threat has reached Aruba; cooperation of all divers is needed

Most diving enthusiasts have been made aware over the past five years of a beautiful to behold but serious threat to delicate reef systems throughout the Caribbean: the invasion of Peterois Volitan, the common Indo-Pacific Lionfish. Scientists speculate as to why this voracious predator was first spotted off the Florida as far back as 1985; most believe it is due to fish collectors letting them out to sea once they become too large for their tanks or possibly have devoured all their other fish. It is also believed Hurricane Andrew contributed by destroying homes with fish tanks housing the Lionfish and thus releasing them into ecosystem.

Masters of the Game, Dutch professionals participating in the Freestyle Soccer and Panna Knock Out on Aruba

This event called “Master of the Game” and will take place August 12, 13 14 and 15.
