Fundacion pa nos Comunidad (Foundation for our Community) is organizing a fundraising on Sunday March 27th 2011 in South Beach Center (across the Radisson). The goal of the fundraising, named Man na Curazon, is to raise a minimum of 2000 bank standing orders of 25 florin per month for a minimum of one year. Fundacion pa nos Comunidad would like to help families in need with monthly food baskets.

Exposition: 25 ana Banco Central di Aruba y nos Florin

In the little Old Protestant church at the Wilhelminastraat, Oranjestad, the exposition "25 aña Banco Central di Aruba y nos Florin" was officially opened on the 17th of February 2011. The exposition is organized by the Centrale Bank of Aruba in conjunction with the government's commission 'Celebracion 25 aña Status Aparte' and gives an impression of the history of the Aruban florin. The official opening was performed by the Minister of Finance, Communication, Utilities and Energy, Mr. Mike de Meza, and the President of the Centrale Bank van Aruba, Mrs. Jane Semeleer.
