All the well-behaved children of Aruba are invited to Taste of Belgium Restaurant in the Palm Beach Plaza Mall to put their little shoes in front the fireplace for Sinterklaas, preferably with a carrot and some hay for his white horse. The holy man's birthday is coming up on December 5 and as tradition goes, he likes to give presents to all the children in the world instead of receiving them. The shoes may be put near the fire place from Monday, December 26 to Thursday, November 29. We are sure that the little ones will find a gift inside their shoes between 5 and 7 pm on Friday, November 30. And what a coincidence: then it's VrijMiBo (VrijdagMiddagBorrel), a great Happy Hour to celebrate the arrival of the weekend.
Gifts will include free play at FunCity upstairs from Taste of Belgium - the parents can enjoy themselves downstairs with 2-for-1 Belgian beers, superb wines or other drinks while their kids are having a great time on their own. Alas, for the children who have been naughty this past year, there is not such good news: they will need to leave for Spain inside the burlap sack of Zwarte Piet on a one-way ticket. So better shape up and behave really, really well these coming days!
