GRAFICAS IN CARNIVAL. Graficas Aruba Carnival Group would like to recruit more members. This is the group’s second year in the parade. Since their debut last year was phenomenal, they really want to make a splash this year, reports Xiomara Odor at the head of the organization. Consider this a personal invitation she writes, for you to join us in our "One of a Kind" Carnival extravaganza.
Incidentally, Aruba is commemorating the island’s 50th Carnival season, and it promises to be crazy! Graficas Aruba Carnival Group is taking to the streets with "Indian Fantasy." Base on research Xiomara informs that eleven different Indians tribes contributed to our ancestry. With feathers and glittering stones in a shimmering sea of gold, the group will certainly stand out and give the 50th anniversary due respect.
To belong, you must sign up – registration is closes on February 19th. The price per person is $ 475,= and it includes participation in two parades, on February 21st & 22nd 2004, an elegant costume, food and drinks, besides a free collector’s item – a Graficas Aruba tee-shirt!!
