Eagle beach General Manager Joe Najjar was pleased to announce this week the appointment of Sonny Partodikromo to Executive Chef at the resort. Sonny was recruited from the former Wyndham, the Aruba Resort, Spa & Casino where he served as Executive Sous Chef for five years. Chef Sonny has lived on Aruba for 16 years and is proud of his diverse experience including gourmet restaurants, buffets and ethnic kitchens Sony traces his ancestral roots to Surinam and Indonesia.
Chef Sonys short term plans include improvements of breakfast at the Captains Table, the complete overhaul of the lunch menu at the Islanders Grill and the updating of the dinner menu at the resorts popular Spanish restaurant, Las Ramblas.

Besides investments in Human Resources Najjar is also pleased to report that his maintenance department just re-carpeted the Mezzanine floor of the resort and placed two 50 plasma TVs in the Cadushi Bar to kick off the American Football season.
