Arikok National Park Rangers clean up the park as part of their environmental campaign together with Aruba’s environmental police. Old tires, plastic items and lots of bottles were some of the items collected Many of these items were collected on the different secluded beaches, mostly only accessible by jeep, on the north-side. Most of the trash is from the many passing ships.
On March 8th, Aruba will be also celebrating the official “Womans Day”. As part of this celebration, Mrs. Peggy Dolet, an expert in the topic of woman and business will be conducting a seminar pertaining to this subject. Other notable professional Aruban woman will also give a presentation. The seminar will take place at the Seaport Conference Center on March 8th.
