A few short months ago, Tierra del Sol hosted the island’s premier real estate brokers for their regular quarterly update on the community and had a little surprise in store. They were led up a wooden platform and shown beautiful ocean and golf course views with the hotel skyline in the distance. “With this vantage point you are sitting in the living room or upper balcony or master suite of your elegant new condominium,” said Bob Elwood, Community Manager, “and from the new buildings further up the hill toward the Clubhouse, you are looking across the golf course to the rugged and picturesque north coast.” Now, development work is underway, with local infrastructure giant, N.V. Arubaanse Wegenbouw Maatschappi, having just cleared the site.
“With the previous phases sold out, we embarked upon the creation of a whole new, enhanced concept,” noted in-house architect and Project Manager, Milagro Gil-Sanchez. “I relied heavily on the creativity and functionality of local designer Roberto Gonzalez to create indoor and outdoor living spaces of exceptional beauty and comfort, and by the time we were done, we had something so different and so much more luxurious than our previous condominiums that we decided to come up with a whole new name for this distinct neighborhood, and that name is Las Palmas.”
Sales Associate, Elizabeth Nicholls, noted that all the upper levels of the one and two story new models will afford ocean views in one or two directions and that the interiors had been changed around to give the views greater impact, and upgraded to the level of the highly successful recent villa homes. “In addition,” she explained, “totally new exciting features are being added, such as large rooftop balconies, big enough for your own optional barbeque and private Jacuzzi under the stars, private courtyards, and a free-standing two-story, three-bedroom villa home that comes with all the convenient condominium services. The two and three bedroom models range from about 1300 square feet (120 M2) to over 1700 square feet (160 M2) and prices currently range from $ 309,000 to $ 439,000. A limited number of optional garages are also available.”
