Tiara Air marks one year of top performance

Oranjestad – Tiara Air, an Aruba-owned company servicing regional destinations marked its first year anniversary by revealing its fresh, new tag line, in three different languages, reflecting the multi-cultural nature of its patrons.

Tiara Air, Na Hora, Comodo Y Simpatico in Papiamento; in English: Tiara Air, On Time, Accommodating and Sympatico; and in Spanish: Tiara Air, Puntual, Comodo Y Simpatico.
Managing Director Alejandro Muyale reports the tag line also fits the company’s professional business profile and its user-friendly operational philosophy.

Tiara Air was set up by local aviation veterans, a dynamic team made up of several of the Muyale family members who live & breathe aviation at the local Reina Beatrix Airport where their General Air Service company handles much of the aircraft traffic, incoming and outgoing, from regional and international destinations.
Tiara Air started as one happy Aruban airliner, literally spreading its wings to service the southern Caribbean. In addition to several daily flights to and from Curacao, Tiara Air also flies several times a week to and from Punto Fijo, in Venezuela.
At the beginning home-made software handled the passenger flow efficiently but with growth the need to introduce more sophisticated systems delivered Bolero, a much respected aviation program, which was put into place on the company’s first anniversary.

Bolero which interacts well with the universal Sabre and Amadeus booking engines allows for easy regional connections and delivers Tiara Air into the global aviation scene.
Tiara Air educated all local travel agents on how to use Bolero and reports that the customized system in place at the Tiara Air’s office in Eagle and at the Reina Beatrix Airport counter truly facilitates the ease of ticketing also paving the way to on-line reservations and do-it-yourself bookings via the company’s web-site in the near future.

Tiara Air, also recently christened its second aircraft to accommodate the growing demand for island hopping. Tiara Air’s new aircraft, like the existing first one, is a Shorts 360, introduced by Shorts Brothers of Ireland, heralded for ease and reliability of operation and maintenance. The plane accommodates 33 passengers and three crewmembers.
