Divi Links – A charity golf tournament at Divi Links benefiting the World Childhood Foundation was organized by the Radisson Aruba Resort & Casino, Saturday.
Scott Derrickson & Tasha Agana representing the Radisson’s management and associates, worked hard for the success of the event in collaborations with Adam Williamson, the Pro at Divi Links.
The event was sponsored by generous local companies among them Unique Sports of Aruba, Caribbean Mercantile Bank, Aruba Bank, Romar Trading, Compra, Knickorbocker Meat, ModoWon and Price Waterhouse.
The tournament started on Saturday at 1:00p.m., in a “scramble – shotgun” format and culminated in an award ceremony and cocktail party at sunset.
Prizes were given for first, second and third place players, with additional prizes for closest to the pin and longest drive. Twenty foursomes played and enjoyed the post-tournament cocktail reception. (Read more about the Childhood Foundation Golf Tournament in tomorrow’s edition.)
