The first guests checking into the Marriott Surf Club were David Krumenacker from New Hampshire, with his wife Cheryl. They stayed at La Cabana All Beach Resort last year when they bought into the Marriott’s new project. 
They are on their 4th visit to island, and will be joined by various family members, including their son. General Manager Balan Paravantavida welcomed the guests with his staff and Carnival dancers.
Cheryl reports the resort turned out much better than she though. . . David’s brother and his wife, Mark & Barbara Krumenacker were the first to take a dip in the pool with their grandson.
