Palm Beach – An extensive Wine and Food Tasting & Art Exhibition marked the opening of the third annual Wine, Food & Art Festival at the Westin Aruba resort. The popular All You Can Sip & Eat in the Palm Beach Ballroom entertained a large crowd of wine and food lovers.
The participants, Aruba’s best chefs, operated an exhibition kitchen in the center of the ballroom serving excellent samples of their cuisine. The special guests, famous local chefs from Matilde & M, Le Dome Restaurant, Aqua Grill Restaurant, the Flying Fishbone, Ventanas del Mar Restaurant and the Westin’s Aruba Resort Culinary Team, joined more than 60 varieties of wine, served by the glass, hailing from the USA, Italy, France, Australia, Chile & Argentina, in collaboration with the island’s liquor purveyors: Aruba Trading Company, Pepia Est, Romar Trading, Playa Liquor, Licores Aruba, the Wine Barrel and Arion Wine Company, with the John Hoey’s jazz band in charge of the musical entertainment.
The evening also featured a grand opening of the Art Exhibit & Sale, by Aruba’s artist community, curated by Gilbert Senchi in participation of individual artists and known local galleries, Oranjestad Kunsthuis, Access Art Gallery and Insight Art Gallery.
