Recently the Aruba Marriott celebrated Associate Appreciation Week with a week filled with fun activities to thank the associates for their hard work and dedication. The special week was initiated Friday afternoon with an outdoor BBQ for the staff. On Monday the associates enjoyed a nice beach walk followed by a game of domino at the Stellaris Casino.
In the evening the staff had a blast during the scavenger hunt in Oranjestad looking for specific items together with their teams. On Tuesday several lucky associates won cash prizes during the jam-packed bingo at the Stellaris Casino and afterwards enjoyed a game of fun brain gymnastics with their teams. On Wednesday morning the staff geared up for a hike in Arikok National Park to explore and learn about Aruba’s nature and fauna. In the afternoon, the associates put on their helmets and coveralls for a competitive game of paintball, where even the Executive Committee Members joined the fun. On Thursday morning the associates participated with different amusing games during ‘Spel Zonder Grenzen’, followed by dance classes in the afternoon, where the associates got the chance to learn new dance moves. For a special treat, the associates also enjoyed the new release of “How to train a dragon” and “Jump Street 22” at Paseo Herencia with their families.
To end the Associate Appreciation Week, the associates joined the mountain bike ride tour on Friday morning and had nice time mingling together at the bowling event at Eagle Bowling in the evening. Associate Appreciation Week 2014 was another great celebration, where the Aruba Marriott’s staff had a memorable week and enjoyed a fun time together.
