Home and Nature has launched an exciting new exhibition by popular local artist Grace Ashruf, titled 'Skyline'. The exhibition can be viewed at Home and Nature during their shopping hours, located at the Avenida Milo Croes 70, Dakota, Oranjestad, Aruba.
Skyline is a collection of 36 small 40x40cm textured abstract landscape paintings. Grace explains, that the series 'Skyline' is based on pictures and impressions taken while on a road trip. The artist has mostly used colors and textures from paintings she has created over the last 10 years 'Workings on such small canvases and all one size, was very challenging and I have explored all possible hypotheses in an abstract style of skylines' Grace shares.
With this collection, Grace Ashruf kept strong composition and vibrant modern colors what she is known for, despite the small canvas size. Each artwork is original and unique, Grace concludes
Grace has presented a number of solo and collective exhibitions to the public over the years, from which she has gained a good reputation and positive responses.
