Sales Team of the Year goes to Renaissance Aruba

Orangestad.-- General Manager Hal Williams had the distinct pleasure of surprising his executives with great news during a recent general meeting, at the Renaissance Convention Center.

The Renaissance Aruba Resort & Casino sales team he announced, was just awarded Sales Team of the Year, landing the 2004 Caribbean, Latin America Leading Together Award for Marriott Franchise Partner, International. Team members all received certificates in recognition of their leadership and contributions to the Caribbean, Latin America sales initiative and the department was given an attractive trophy to keep.

Carla Smits Director of Sales & Marketing was visibly moved by the recognition. "This award," she said, "must be shared with all of you from the front office to the convention center." According to Smits, her sales efforts are always backed up with impeccable delivery and her team is 100% confident that all promises made to individuals and groups will be followed up on efficiently and conscientiously.

"You make our job easy," she stated, "and it feels good, to conduct property inspections and host familiarization trips having the complete confidence that a well-oiled machine will make vacation dreams come true for guests."

Besides their certificates, they also received a letter signed by John W. Marriott III, Executive Vice President of Marriott Corporation.
