Palm Beach – Queen Beatrix I of the Netherlands, bid farewell to her hosts in the lobby of the Radisson Aruba Resort & Casino.
There to see her off the island’s Governor Freddy Rafunjol and the Prime Minister Nelson Oduber, with his wife Glenda.
The resort housekeepers, front desk and bellmen staff all lined up to catch the l
ast glimpse of the much-loved Monarch who stayed at the resort for four days, two at leisure and two on official state business. The queen then walked past her hosts, resort executives Scott Derrickson, Lily Polsbroek, Esmeralda Hendriks and Fransisca van Esta Tjallingii and stopped to personally thank General Manager Gary Juts, for the excellence hospitality she was shown.
