PALM BEACH, ARUBA – April 2011 – The Aruba Marriott Resort will provide the backdrop for the 2012 New England Patriots Cheerleaders Calendar shoot next month and is looking for the biggest Patriots fan to be a part of the experience.
Beginning Monday, April 11, the Aruba Marriott will launch a contest and begin accepting video testimonials via Facebook (www.Facebook.com/ArubaMarriott). Applicants will have the opportunity to plead their case as to why they are the “biggest Patriots fan.” Testimonials can be up to :30 seconds in length and will be voted on by peers. The video clip with the most votes at the end of the month will win the grand prize of two round trip tickets to Aruba for a four-day, three-night Aruba Marriott beach vacation.
"Video submissions showcasing a fan’s ‘Patriot-ism’ should be creative, fun and compelling. We want to see the largest collection of Patriots memorabilia, an oversized Pat Patriot tattoo, a group of men doing a Patriots Cheerleader dance or any other fun demonstration that will convince people to vote for them as the biggest Pats fan," said Antoinette Van den Berg, Director of Sales & Marketing for the Aruba Marriott. " And don’t worry, the prize trip doesn’t have to be during football season, so our winner won’t even have to miss a game."
To enter the contest, applicants must have a valid Facebook account and be a fan of Aruba Marriott Resort Facebook Page. The winner of the biggest Patriots Fan contest will be announced via the Aruba Marriott’s Facebook page on May 15, 2011. The New England Patriots Cheerleader calendar shoot will take place from May 22–29. The winner of the contest can redeem his or her prize from May 22, 2011 through May 22, 2012.
