Oranjestad Bon Bini Festival is tomorrow night

Oranjestad – The weekly Bon Bini Festival put on by the Government and the Aruba Hotel and Tourism Association takes place tomorrow night at the Fort Zoutman here.

Featured are the Aruban folkloric acts and typical foods at bargain prices. The colorful affair runs from 6:45 to 9:00pm with a goodly number of five acts. Entertainment is by caha di orgel (organ grinder) “Nos Ambiante” Aruban musical group: “Pegasaya” dance groups; “Kids in action,” and “Masiduri,” soloist. “Hilyann Croes” and steelband: “New Generation.”

Hubert Naar is the master of ceremonies.

Admittance is just 5 Aruban Florins or $3 for adults.

Bus services from the hotel to Fort Zoutman for visitors who wish to rub elbows with Aruban culture – and Arubans – are dependable and inexpensive.

Local handicraft items will be on sale and food and beverage are also available at reasonable prices.
