New Hooters/Benihana

The dashing Jossito Mansur - he is now blessed with little salt in his wavy pepper hair, is overseeing the construction of the new Hooters/Benihana, designed by Carlos Profet, adjacent to Brickell Bay Hotel. To enter Benihana, guests will be asked to step down a few steps. The restaurant will be dug in three feet to give Hooters on the second floor, a fantastic terrace, raised above street level. December is the target day, for one, or perhaps both restaurants if all goes well. Jossito who just put up a Housing Camp in Savaneta for Valero’s foreign workers is proud of his projects and filled with energy, as he puffs his cigar inspecting the bulldozer in action.  Chido Henriquez remains at the helm in the marketing and sales department. Benihana he says needs no introduction. It’s a world renowned product, which will do great in the new hi-rise location  . . .
