Meeting Planners gather at the Aruba Marriott for the Aruba Destination Review

From May 17 – 21, 2012 the Aruba Convention Bureau hosts its annual Aruba Destination Review, a program for meeting planners. This year a total of twelve participants from North America visit the island to experience the destination, offerings to potential groups and to connect with the Aruba hoteliers and destination management companies. The kick off breakfast took place at the Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino, where Hall Davis, U.S. representative of the Aruba Convention Bureau provided a brief presentation about Aruba. Antoinette van den Berg, Director of Sales & Marketing for the Aruba Marriott thanked the delegates for their interest in Aruba and announced the upcoming enhancements of the resort, a renovation of the Grand Ballroom. After breakfast a site inspection through the hotel was conducted, providing the meeting planners information about the resort and introducing its newest amenity the H2Oasis adult pool. Over the next few days, the North America delegates have a fun filled program including a jeep safari tour and sunset sail.
