PALM BEACH, ARUBA (DECEMBER 19, 2011) – The Aruba Marriott proudly announces the appointment of Executive Sous Chef Alejo Garcia to Executive Chef for the three Aruba Marriott properties.
Alejo joined the Marriott company in 1999 at the Courtyard by Marriott in Buenos Aires as Kitchen assistant and transferred in 2002 to JW Marriott Miami where he worked for a year as Cook to learn the ins and outs of a 5-star kitchen. He continued his journey in 2003 to Marriott Los Suenos Ocean and Golf Resort in Costa Rica, where he worked for 2 years as Sous Chef.After working one year at the JW Marriott Hotel in Quito, Ecuador, Alejo wanted to experience the island lifestyle and transferred in 2006 to Frenchmen’s Reef & Morning Star Marriott Beach Resort, in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands as Sous Chef.
The Aruba Marriott welcomed Alejo on 14 November 2008 to our Resort as our Executive Sous Chef. In the last three years he has grown to be a great leader, shared his passion for food and shown his skills and talents in the kitchen.

The Sunday Christmas brunch offers a wide range of breakfast items and menu items such as the oven roasted turkey, fetuccini alfredo with grilled chicken and home made pizza’s. The Christmas brunch is available from 7:00 am – 3:00 pm at $37.00 per person, kids age 6-12 half price and kids 0-5 eat free.
The Christmas dinner buffet starts at 5:30 till 10.30pm and include a festive variety of traditional menu items including the honey ham, grilled salmon,garlic spiked prime rib, baked four cheese pasta and more. The Christmas dinner can be enjoyed at $54.95. Kids 5-12 half price and 0-5 free.
