The singer song writer held a press conference at the Radisson Aruba Resort & Casino just before his two and a half hour long concert at the Aruba Entertainment Center on Saturday Night. Besides press 
members the young heartthrob from Connecticut USA also encountered quite a few teenage girls in search of an autograph or even a picture with the star.
John Mayer appeared here as part of the Aruba Music Festival, on its third successful year on the island. The concert series also featured Jackson Browne who appeared as the headliner Friday night. John Mayer praised Aruba's beauty and serenity. He admitted he was first introduced to the name of the island via a certain famous pop song. During his stay at the Radisson Aruba Resort & Casino the singer also ventured out to gamble at the Excelsior
