In order to meet the Brazilian market demand, especially from the mid-western region, TACA will begin operating flights to Brasilia from Bogota, providing the opportunity to connect with Avianca flights from Aruba, starting June 2nd. The increased flights to Brasilia will operate 4 times per week from Bogota, and increased passenger capacity by serving it with an A319 aircraft.
“This new flight will operate four times per week using an Airbus 319 with capacity for 120 passengers, allowing our passengers to travel to and from Brasilia through convenient connections in Bogota and San Jose,” said Claudia Arenas, AviancaTaca communications director.

Both Avianca and TACA are showing signs of sustained growth in Brazil. Brazil is one of the countries with the largest amount of cities served with direct flights operated by Avianca and TACA, offering the traveler both leisure and business travel options in and out of the region. At the same time the airlines offer convenient connections through the different hubs in Bogota, San Salvador, Lima, and San Jose.
