Experience Aruba Panorama; The presentation

Ready to make its big-screen debut later this fall, "Experience Aruba Panorama" is the first-ever destination-oriented film of its kind in the Caribbean.  With an investment of over $1 million dollars (US), Aruba, where happiness lives, has launched a one-of-a-kind film about the rich history and culture of this colorful island financed by Metacorp, one of the island's major corporations.

Visitors will be enveloped in 22-minutes of total sight and sound stimulation as they take in all the magic that Aruba has to offer on five-huge screens boasting three-dimensional effects and superb sound effects. Guests will be transported on a journey of knowledge and exploration as "Experience Aruba Panorama" offers a movie-going experience unlike any other in the Caribbean. Boasting five enormous screens that measure 66-feet wide and 13-feet high on a 155-degree semi-circle, "Experience Aruba Panorama" was professionally filmed.  A crew with five cameras designed this to envelop viewers and take them on a trip over an island small in size, but big in everything that it has to offer.

Caprino Panoramic was responsible for the filming and currently has other movies being shown in Norway, France, Scotland, Ireland, Munich and Hong Kong. "Experience Aruba Panorama" offers guests a look into the history of Aruba with highlights including when the island was first discovered; where pirates used to hide; how gold mining became extremely profitable; Aruba's role in World War II; Aruba's special ties and relationship with Holland and much more.  The movie also offers Aruba-devotees a taste of the island's rich culture, religion, educational system and its famous Carnival celebrations.

"We are very proud of the new film 'Experience Aruba Panorama' and its contribution to expanding and increasing the quality of tourist attractions and adding to the overall experience of Aruba as a destination," said Edison Briesen, Minister of Tourism and Transportation.  "Aruba is the first island in the Caribbean to offer this type of film that covers a demand for cultural and historical information for the local community, our visitors and cruise-ship passengers alike," he added.

"Experience Aruba Panorama" is offered six-days a week (except Sundays) in the Crystal Theater and presentations run every hour from 11:00 a.m. until the last showing at 5:00 p.m. Tickets to "Experience Aruba Panorama" are $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12.
