The Numismatic Museum is very happy to announce that soon they will be able to sell commemorative coins to collectors, tourists and people in general who want to have coins depicting events and items important to Aruba and Holland e.g. Sea turtle, Prince Willem Alexander and Princess Maxima's Wedding, Oil refinery, 2nd world war, the Olympics, 550 years discovery of Aruba, etc.

The Numismatic Museum represents the KPN (Koninglklijke Penning Kabinet) officially since March 2004 and expect to start selling commemorative coins by the end of April this year. The director and marketing manager of the Royal Dutch Mint - KNM (Koningklijke Nederlandse Munt) visited Aruba last year and were surprised to see that Aruba's Numismatic Museum did not feature nor sell commemorative coins. This is due to the fact that the only outlet for selling those coins is the Central Bank of Aruba. Consequently the Royal Dutch Mint offered to help out by providing the museum with flyers and supplying coins. This makes it possible to sell coins originating in The Netherlands also.

So collectors - this is your chance to broaden your collection!
