Dinner at the edge of the Ocean

The rushing of the waves crashing gently against the shore is the only sound you hear at Tortuga Bar & Grill. The new Aruba Beach Club restaurant is located right at the edge of the water. It is wonderfully romantic in the evening, softly lit by candlelight. Almost imperceptible dinner music wafts in, careful not to overshadow the soothing sounds of the waves.

Tortuga has a surprisingly varied menu for lunch & dinner. Lunch features our most favorite sandwiches and salads, while dinner is filled with surprises. Sure, you may order a grilled chicken or steak sandwich or a mixed barbeque anytime, but the kitchen's forte is really in its specials.  The specials are listed at the back of the menu, the best place to look! You may start off with classic Escargot or Baked Eggplant.

Then the list of entrees includes a 'House Specialty' Linguini Fra Diablo; Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken & Ham, Rigatoni a la Vodka, heaped with shrimp and crab, Risotto Tortuga, brimming with seafood, Coconut Fried Shrimp, and Surf & Turf, featuring a juicy grilled tenderloin served with either the Catch of the Day or the Shrimp Special. The two daily creative dishes are very popular.

  

Chef John practically invents then as he goes along - a new way of presenting shrimp and a novel recipe for fresh catch, every day. The unhurried, unrushed service, adds to the genuinely Caribbean experience, at very reasonable prices.
