WESTPUNT - The Aruba Hotel and Tourism Association and Meet Aruba work together to promote group, meeting, and incentive business on the island, and coordinate Destination Review trips throughout the year to familiarize meeting and event planners from around the world with Aruba's tourism product.
Recently, a group of 15 meeting planners were on the island to enjoy first-hand the pleasures of the island and scout out possible venues for future meetings and events.
On Saturday evening, Tierra del Sol Resort, Spa & Country Club hosted the farewell dinner for the group, which was also coordinated with ECO Destination Management Services, a company devoted to developing, preparing, and handling incentive trips for with creativity and pizzazz. Together, the teams of Tierra del Sol and ECO created a chic and groovy sunset cocktail reception on the back lawn of Tierra del Sol's clubhouse. Guests were greeted with mojitos and hors d' oeuvres, then mingled and relaxed in a funky lounge set up on the lawn with electric palm trees, cushy leather sofas, and even lava lamps!
Guests then made their way into the resort's flagship, award-winning restaurant, Ventanas del Mar, where a plated dinner was served. After dinner, guests were ushered to a poolside dessert reception.
