EAGLE BEACH, Aruba – November 21, 2011 – In celebration of Aruba’s 10th National Coastal Cleanup Day on November 12, volunteers from Bucuti & Tara Beach Resorts helped clean the coast on the north side of the island. Owner Ewald Biemans remarked, “What is most rewarding is that when we invite our guests to join and help, we always get volunteers. For this particular cleanup effort 12 of our guests took time from their vacation to help some of our staff clean the north coast near the lighthouse”.
Aruba hosts Coastal Clean-Up Day as part of an international event in which 60 nations worldwide participate. Public and private sectors join together in this national activity organized for the past eight years by the Environmental Committee of the Aruba Hotel & Tourism Association.
