October , 2005 - - Bucuti Beach Resort - - Eagle Beach Aruba - - Each year, Bucuti Management and Staff undergo training to maintain their Emergency Plan and Procedure, to ensure the safety of guests and staff, should an emergency situation occur.
“International Fire Prevention Week was celebrated around the world this week and seemed like the perfect time to test our Fire Plan” states resort manager, Deborah Dintelman. “Aruba’s Fire Department simulated a fire and staff participated as volunteer “injured and casualties”. This allowed the resort management and staff to test all aspects of the emergency plan, from the initial calls to the Fire Department and Ambulance Service, as well as hotel guests.
After the simulation, a review and assessment of Bucuti’s performance was evaluated in order to identify areas for improvement.
