Brides Magazine executive chooses Aruba for her Dream of the world ceremony

June 2006 - - Bucuti Beach Resort on Eagle Beach, Aruba - - Conde Nast journalist Chanize Thorpe-Crenshaw travels the Caribbean on behalf of Brides and other top travel magazines and has experienced the best the Caribbean has to offer. Therefore when Chanize chose Aruba for one of the most important occasions of her life, all involved rose to the occasion to produce a wonderful event for her and her family.

Willi and Chanize live in New York City and met while working at a publishing house. “I’ve covered Aruba for a few publications for about 6 years and I love it! The Bucuti is my favorite hotel on the prettiest beach! When we married in the court house 10 years ago, my husband and I promised to have the ceremony on the beach some day on a beautiful island.” explains Chanize.

Bucuti utilized the enthusiasm and skill of their of their talented team of management and staff and produced Chanize’s romantic wedding upon Bucuti’s 14 acre beach, published as one of the top ten “Dream Beaches of the World” for the past 12 years.

“Family and friends traveled to Aruba for our ceremony and Aruban friends joined us as well. I am thankful that I worked with a professional team for a flawless ceremony. The Bucuti team, Reverend Gibson, photographer Bryan and my make up artist Claudine from Aveda in Aruba must be recognized for the quality wedding that would rival any wedding organized in the US.” States Chanize. “I love that the Bucuti setting is guaranteed to be perfect and Bucuti has a team to take care of it all.”

“We are incredibly honored that Chanize chose our resort and our island for her long awaited Wedding ceremony on the beach and our Tara Suites for her honeymoon.” says Susan Biemans. Ewald Biemans and his wife Susan own the resort and are active in the management.
