Island Extravaganza concludes next Saturday, December 4, 2010 with a mega party! We will conclude the 7,5 weeks of campaign with an entire day of events starting at 10am until 10pm at the Renaissance Mall, Renaissance Marketplace, Crystal and Seaport Casino.
On December 4th, a twelve hour party will celebrate the conclusion of the campaign with folkloric dancers, carnival show with brass band and steel band, live music entertainment by Grupo di Betico and Tsunami, a fashion show, a karaoke contest, the next top dog “best dressed competition’’ and other family oriented activities such as face painting, wall painting, arts and crafts, Dino jump, trampoline and finalized the day with a firework and music show. Participants need to be present on the date and time of the raffle.
The prizes are the following:
1st prize a 2011 Suzuki Grand Vitara
2nd prize a Cruise trip for 2
3rd prize a trip for two to Curacao including stay at the Renaissance Hotel
4th prize a trip for two to Miami including stay at the Renaissance Hotel
5th prize a $1000 gift certificate to shop in Renaissance Mall and or Renaissance Marketplace.
6th prize a brunch for 4 at Aquarius Restaurant.
7th prize a dinner for 2 at L.G. Smith’s Steak and Chop House.
8th kids prize DSI
9th Weekly cash prizes of AWG 1000, - . The first raffle took place on October 22, 2010 and the last raffle will take place on Friday, December 3rd, 2010.
Download the colorful Brochure and MAP Locals and visitors are invited to shop, dine, play at the heart of the town Renaissance complex and bring their receipt to the Island Extravaganza booth located in the Renaissance Mall, Renaissance Marketplace or at the players Center of Seaport and Crystal Casino where they will receive a raffle ticket for each AWG 25 spent, and should fill out their name and address and dropped the coupon in the designated tombola. Casino players will be rewarded with raffle for each 25 points they accumulate while playing.
Island Extravaganza booths
The Island Extravaganza booth will be available on Saturday, December 4th, 2010 in both Malls. Both booths are open from 10.30am and will close at 8pm.
The only booth where coupon can be redeemed until 8.30 PM is at the player center of the Seaport Casino.
FREE Bus Transportation from Hotel Strip
Island visitors are invited to hop on the special FREE transportation bus. Get on the bus at any of the islands hotels, for a 25 minute trip into town starting at 10 AM and the last bus leaves the hotel area at 8 PM

The Mall stores will be open from 10.00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., shoppers / customers will be treated with a Flamenco Show by Angela Croes, a Fashion Show, an art expo and make-overs.

Events that are scheduled to take place at the Renaissance Marketplace
Renaissance marketplace will feature kids’ activities such as Zumba for kids by step it up crew, dino jump, trampoline, arts and crafts, wall painting, Island Extravaganza train and in the spirit of the season sinterklaas and his zwarte piet will also be present. This year we have a special prize especially for the kids, we will have an expo of all the drawings we collected from the children and at 5:30 pm we will announce the winner.

Entertainment
A DJ and A Touch of Steel steelband, while Tsunami, Grupo di Betico and Orkesta Hubenil di Korsou are the main event; as they will be present their fantastic music from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.
-A Touch of Steel will perform on the board walk next to the red telephone booth.
-The DJ will perform in the Renaissance Marketplace during the day.
-Grupo di Betico will perform from 5 pm to 7 pm at the Renaissance Marketplace in front Café the Plaza.
-Tsunami will perform from 7pm – 10pm at Festival Plaza
-Orkesta Hubenil di Korsou will perform from 7pm – 11pm in front of Seaport Casino facing Diletto.
Food
Festival Plaza will also offer a variety of food choices from Aruban Sweets to Aruban Snacks and a Balashi Beer tent.
