Recently Aruba received the first call of the Aida Luna Cruise ship, it was on the morning of the 24th of November when the majestic cruise ship enter our port with 2057 passengers and 611 crew members on board. The beautiful vessel with its 69203 gross ton and measuring 251.89 meters long and 32.2 meters wide navigates under the Italian flag, but almost all the passengers are from Germany.
During a ceremony on board Captain Hanjo Mueller received a warm welcome from Mr. Ernest Giel, Ms. Darline de Cuba and Cruise and niche manager Mrs. Gloria Vega from the Aruba Tourism Authority together with the director of the Aruba Port Authority Mr. Alfonso Boekhoudt, also present were the director of finance of the ship agent Maduro & Sons Mr. Hans van Esveld and Mr. Graceo Dunlock and from the department of navigation from the government was present Mr. Carl Vrolijk.
Aruba welcomes the Aida Luna on its first call and wishes Captain Hanjo Mueller and his crew all the best and may we see them on many more calls on our dushi Aruba.
