Aruba, "One Happy Island" is once again proud to announce it is hosting its 2nd Annual Aruba International Film Festival on June 10-16, 2011 screening award winning and critically acclaimed films from around the world. AIFF's mission is to connect to the international film community and Aruba while raising public awareness for Aruban culture and showcasing regional filmmakers and productions. Last year's Aruba International Film Festival 2010 was a true Aruban success story. For 8 days in early June, the professional film community gathered at Paseo Herencia to celebrate the finest in new and independent films along with the incomparable beauty of the Island. Over 45 films from 18 countries were screened and the festival was covered by over 40 international media outlets with numerous special programs and plenty of parties and live events. The AIFF hub will be located in the Paseo Herencia Entertainment Center in the Palm Beach area of the island. Tickets will be available in a variety of price ranges, from a simple movie ticket to packages of multi-event attendance, to top accreditation tickets for VIP events.
