Amazonia Churrascaria has received a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence, which honors top-rated lodging businesses, restaurants and attractions, as reviewed by travelers on the world’s largest travel site.

To qualify, these businesses must maintain an average rating of four or higher out of a possible five, as reviewed by travelers on the site. Additional criteria include volume of reviews and how recently they have been submitted by TripAdvisor travelers. The accolade is extended to qualifying businesses worldwide.

“Amazonia Churrascaria is pleased to receive a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence,” said General Manager Patrick v/d Berg. “We strive to offer our patrons a memorable experience, and this accolade is evidence that our hard work is translating into positive traveler reviews on TripAdvisor.”

“The TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence program gives exceptional businesses in a variety of different industries around the world the recognition they deserve,” says Christine Petersen, president of TripAdvisor for Business. “From top-rated restaurants in Boston to top-rated attractions in Barcelona, we want to applaud these businesses for offering TripAdvisor travelers a great customer experience.”

Amazonia Churrascaria recently introduced its refreshed dining under the leadership of General Manager Patrick v/d Berg, who spearheaded the seasonal restaurant’s Get Fresh, Get Festive and Get Spoiled campaign, surprising diners with new items off a carving cart, delivering fresh fish, and special cuts of beef such as Prime Rib to the table, besides the extensive traditional menu which includes a fabulous 52-item salad bar and sixteen cuts of perfectly grilled meats, just-baked, homemade breads, and sinfully decadent homemade desserts, prepared from scratch in-house. The bar menu now boasts new fruity sangria and tropical caipirinha, against a backdrop of refreshed décor, cushions, flowers and plants.

Amazonia Churrascaria first opened in Aruba in 2001, as the first original Churrascaria. The restaurant offers dinner Monday to Saturday from 6pm to 11pm and Sunday from 5pm to 11pm, delivering a truly unique dining experience, perfectly suited for large and small families, diverse groups, or intimate dinners for two, over great food and fine wine.
