WESTPUNT - The island's premier wedding ceremony and reception destination, Tierra del Sol Resort, Spa & Country Club, was the location chosen by Dayna and Jason Carr for their October 1st celebration. The couple, who currently reside and work on the island, was officially wed the day before during a civil ceremony held at the island's courthouse in Oranjestad.
The late Saturday afternoon ceremony, held outdoors at Tierra del Sol's clubhouse catering and special events venue, was presided over by Reverend Sydney Jacob. Following their vows, Dayna, a Pennsylvania native, and Jason, from North Carolina, invited their visiting family and friends for a reception and dinner in the award-winning clubhouse restaurant, Ventanas del Mar.
