Oranjestad. -- Ximena Lampe served as competition emcee when Dufry Aruba NV staged an amazing fragrance launch.
When the Dufry team under the leadership of Lilly Does decided to promote its newest arrival, the “Paris Hilton” fragrance, they made up their mind to make it special with a look-alike contest. The launch of the first perfume designed by the very famous model Paris Hilton, delivered much excitement and a curious crowd of shoppers, on-lookers and family members to the main street, to Dufry’s flagship store.
The slim and tall Ygraine Ras, won the title for looks, attitude and self-expression, with the sexy Melanie Duran & the model Heidi Davis landing the first and second runner-up positions. The outrageous Gina Ferrari won Miss Popularity. Ygraine received a round trip to Miami courtesy of Dufry’s owner Richard Lacle and a modeling course with Koma Models, Knockout Model Agency.
The panel of judges included Jean Francois Picot, Vice President Philippe Gerard Enterprises Inc. who distributes the fragrance. Also on the Judges Panel beauty expert Milly Lacle, designer Ronchie de Cuba, TV personality, Tessa Pietersz, press member Rosalie Klein & columnist Rona Coster.
