HATO. -- Luis Posner and Ricky Malmberg on behalf of their respective companies Aruba Aloe and De Palm Tours applied their signature to a win-win agreement signed in Hato, at the Aruba Aloe factory and museum. The agreement prepares to deliver 60.000 visitors to the landmark dedicated to the cultivation and history of the humble Aloe plant on the island.
Aruba Aloe, a family business and the oldest industry on the island operates the Hato facility and shows it off to cruise ship passengers, island visitors and locals. De Palm Tours helps transport and inform them, besides promoting the facility. The joint agreement will continue to showcase how important the Aloe industry has been to the local economy, and how deeply rooted it is in the island’s culture.
The respective Sales Directors Michel Henriquez & Reo Thonissen explained Aruba Aloe and De Palm Tours will work hand in hand to nurture their collaboration and to offer the stop at the Aruba Aloe facility in conjunction with many optional tours.
The tour of the Aloe factory, museum, fields and boutique is also supported by Atlantis Adventures with a Surf & Turf program combining trips on the Atlantis Submarine or the Seaworld Explorer in combination with a factory inspection.
Posner reports that among future plans, a botanical garden featuring the many Aloe varieties; an upgrade of certain product packaging and more distribution outlets in the USA where Aruba Aloe is sold to niche markets, available to upscale consumers.
