Three locals completed the Open Water Dive Course at SE Fly n Dive Aruba

P10101922.jpgAruba is surrounded by water and as an inhabitant it is very important that you know how to swim. In addition our locals also love to discover more about Aruba’s underwater life and learn how to dive in order to see the beauty beneath the waves. Once they are certified divers they also collaborate in keeping our reefs clean or they continue in getting a career in the dive world, which is growing market in Aruba.

Three young local men took the Open Water Diver Course at SE Fly n Dive and learned the basic skills and knowledge they will need to know as an independent diver. The Open Water Diver Course is the most popular scuba diving course and millions of people all over the world followed this training.

During the course they learned everything they need to know to dive. The course consists of theory, one dive in the pool and four open water dives. They were also taught about scuba diving equipment, the underwater environment and dive planning.

All three local men complete the course successfully and they are now able to dive to 60 feet (18 meters) together with a certified companion (buddy).  SE Fly n Dive was happy to present the certificates and would like to congratulate these young fellows in achieving the Open water dive certification. You make Aruba proud and are a good example for the rest who are interested in diving!
