The third edition of the Renaissance Island Extravaganza began this week, offering island residents and visitors the opportunity to shop, dine, play and win big over the next 8 weeks. Renaissance Shopping Center Marketing Coordinator Edalitza Weller promises this year will feature “Xtravagant Prizes.” The campaign will run simultaneously in both Aruba and Curacao Renaissance Malls, with identical sets of prizes for each island.
Eight weeks of holiday shopping at the numerous stores within the Renaissance Mall or Marketplace on Aruba will result in raffle tickets. You will receive 1 ticket for every 25 Aruban florins you spend. Tickets should be placed in the tumblers distributed throughout the malls.
The grand prize: a 2012 Huyundai Sonata from Garage Centraal.
Twice weekly, there will be a drawing for a 500 florin gift certificate to be used at the Renaissance Mall or Marketplace.
The final drawing will be at the Island Xtravaganza event in Oranjestad on December 1, at 9:00 PM.

• Trip for 2 to New York
• Trip for 2 to Curacao
• $1000 Renaissance Mall and Marketplace Gift Certificate

The deadline for placing raffle coupons in the tumblers is 8:00 PM on December 1; they will not be accepted after.
Of particular interests to vacationers participating in the raffle is a special drawing for a trip for 2 back to Aruba, including airfare and hotel. The drawings will be the highlight of the 12-hour grand finale at the Renaissance Marketplace featuring a food festival, cultural carnival show, live entertainment and fireworks. Winners should be present during the raffle to claim prizes. Winners should also bring with them a valid ID.
the Seaport and Crystal Casinos can also use their member-card to accumulate points towards raffle coupons. Every 25 points results in a raffle ticket, as well as combinations, per table game rules.
Participating Renaissance Mall and Marketplace shops are open six days a week from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM and some shops also open on Sunday. Shoppers will be rewarded with double raffle coupons when shopping between 6:00 and 8:00 PM.
