And the winners of the Caribbean Spotlight Series and Aruba Flavor films are:
- Jury Award for Best Aruba Flavor Film – “Wake Up” by Ken Wolff.
- Jury Award for Best Caribbean Spotlight Series Film - Tie: "Ghett'a Life" by Chris Browne and “Ballplayer: Pelotero” by Ross Finkel, Trevor Martin and Jonathan Paley
- Audience Award for Best Aruba Flavor Film – “Awa Brak” by Juan Francisco Pardo Wernet and Ryan Daniel Oduber
- Audience Award for Best Caribbean Spotlight Series Film – “Children of the Wind” directed by Daphne Schmon and produced by Robert McCormick Schmon.
The jury consisted of: Rigoberto Lopez (Cuba) - President of the Traveling Caribbean Film Showcase, Eddy Wijngaarde (Suriname) and last year’s People’s Choice Winner of the Caribbean Spotlight Series, Kareem Mortimer (Bahamas).
Awards were presented by Siegfried Dumfries, the Director of Aruba’s Department of Culture.
