Island media had a very pleasant surprise on Tuesday morning as they were invited by owners Uri and Edeline Croes to sniff and sample the wealth of fragrances, make-up and skin care products produced by Yves Rocher, the most popular brand in France.
Yves Rocher offer unique products from a company that has chosen to master every aspect of its operations: agriculture, botanical and scientific research on plants, developing innovative active ingredients, formulas, supplying raw materials, manufacturing, packaging, shipping and distribution around the world.
It was 50 years ago, in the attic of his family’s home, in the heart of Bretagne, France, that “Yves Rocher created Botanical Beauty, based on the treasures of the botanical world and its infinite potential.” From the very beginning, he insisted on controlling every step of the production cycle in order to guarantee the quality, effectiveness and appeal.
Renowned in 80 countries, Yves Rocher products are now directly available for the first time in the Caribbean and Aruba and the Renaissance Mall is host to their flagship store. The company offers over 900 products; the new shop now carries around 400, with plans to expand their inventory.

Each year, close to 30 new botanical active ingredients are developed and tested. Since 1959, more than 50 patent families have been filed.
