Dutch Crown Prince keynote speaker at Aruba Green conference

His royal highness the Crown Prince of the Netherlands, Prince Willem-Alexander has confirmed his participation as keynote spea­ker for the upcoming mega event here in Aruba…Green Aruba II.
Prince Willem-Alexander is scheduled to speak on Saturday October 29th. Unquestio­nably, the Prince's speech has given this year’s green confe­rence an interesting new dimension.

This mega event is to be held here from October 27 to 29. World-renowned speakers on the theme of green energy will be here on Aruba. These experts will expound on how we must deal with planet earth so that for generations to come others can continue enjoying it as much as we did.

In this year’s green confe­rence the commissioner of the European Union, Mr. Andris Piebalgs, Jan Willem Kelder of the Board of TNO and Jan Ebbing the coordinator of TNO in the Caribbean will be participating. Other participants are: CEO of Repsol, Mr. Phil Ribbeck, and Dr. Mitzi Montoya of the University of Arizona.

Wubbo Ockels will be returning for this year’s conference to offer a lecture on the latest developments in alternative energy. Also expected are, CEO of Triodos Bank Peter Blom, Milton Berlinski who is managing director of Goldman Sachs, Joop Wijn member of the Board of ABN-AMRO Bank, Kevin De Cuba, Adam Warren, and Ministers Eman, de Meza and Hooyboer-Winklaar. Each Minister will present a discourse in addition to se­veral other speakers.

During this year’s conference they will sign the contract with TNO and officially open the Europe House here. Again this year the expectation for an interesting and extremely informative conference is high. It appears that no one will want to miss this event. This second Green Conference will be nothing short of spectacular.
