Oranjestad – As travel companies gear up for their busy Winter season months, they also reflect on accomplishments achieved in previous seasons, taking the time to acknowledge superior service levels at premier destinations.
De Palm Tours was on the receiving end of such season-end award as Thomas Cook, a giant multinational travel organization presented compliments for a job-well-done, in a special ceremony which took place just recently.
The "Outstanding Service Award" bestowed by the BIG 4, Thomas Cook Canada, Sunquest and Holiday House in Toronto, and Ontario Canada, was announced on August 22nd, 2011. It was given to suppliers including Ground Handlers and/or Hoteliers who have achieved excellence, as reflected in customer feedback obtained from surveys filled out on Thomas Cook flights coming home from various destinations, as well as from customer letters and reports receive by Thomas Cook throughout the year.
Aruba’s De Palm Tours, shared the distinction with other quality ground handling operators such as Costa Rica’s Swiss Travel and Nassau’s Majestic Tours who also received the top Outstanding Service Awards in the region.
“We’re proud of our award,” a De Palm Tours representative commented. “We are the ones in charge of first impressions and last impressions as we welcome passengers to Aruba, at the airport and the cruise ship terminal, and we bid them farewell at the same two facilities at the end of their vacations.
