Aruba has a new band in town, set to ignite music lovers with their exciting mix of Latin, Pop, Salsa and Bachata and international chart toppers, called Flame!
Comprised of a full 16-piece orchestra fronted by noted island vocalist Luigi Cortes, winner of the 2006 edition of the Aruba’s Sparkling Tour, the equivalent of “American Idol,” they invite all of Aruba’s residents and visitors to let them rock your world with their official launch this Friday, August 26, at the Renaissance Convention Center in Oranjestad. Best of all, you can’t beat the price: entrance is absolutely free.
Friday’s concert begins at 8:00 PM and it will be 4 hours of fine music and dancing, sponsored by the Renaissance and Aruba Trading Company with Label 5, Scotch Whiskey. Flame will also officially introduce their original song “Aventura Prohiba” (Illicit Adventure) sung by Luigi with Ruth Gaarie, band vocalist, and Shurby Mariah.
One and all are invited to discover and enjoy some of Aruba’s most talented musicians in their new collaborative effort: Flame!
