The workshop will focus on the creation of short video pieces incorporating some aspect of the island and culture of Aruba as the subject matter. Participants will learn how filmmakers approach a project and how they condense space, time and information by using montage techniques. They will create living pictures, and develop simple narratives. They will also learn how to use editing equipment and editing techniques to achieve a professional, finished product. Both amateur and emerging professional filmmakers will benefit greatly from this course.
