EAGLE BEACH, Aruba – February 17, 2010 – England natives Zarla and James Fowler’s dream wedding at Bucuti & Tara Beach Resorts, Aruba’s premier resort for romance, went down without a hitch on January 21, 2011. The couple’s romance began at first-sight at a local hometown bar in Basingstoke. Within a year of dating, James, a Royal Airforce Chinook Crewman, proposed minutes before boarding an aircraft to leave for a tour of duty in Afghanistan. “Our wedding nearly didn’t happen!” said new bride Zarla Fowler. “James was stuck in Afghanistan due to flight delays in the UK as a result of snow storms. All airports were closed.” Luckily, despite flight delays and airport closures, James Fowler was able to make it to Aruba to enjoy his big day. “To sum up our entire wedding and the Bucuti resort in one word, outstanding!” said James Fowler. “The food, the drinks, the amazing beach location, the sunset, we couldn’t ask for more!”
