PALM BEACH, ARUBA (DECEMBER 7, 2010) – On December 6 and 7, the Aruba Marriott hosts a 2-day live radio broadcast in New York on channel WCBS 101.1 FM. Radio host Dan Taylor, program director Brian Thomas and radio technician Chris Tobin are the team behind the #1 radio station in New York, WCBS 101.1 FM Dan Taylor Morning Show, 5 days a week, attracting over 4.4 million listeners each week.
This morning Marriott guests came out early to greet the radio crew and reporting out to ‘the folks back home’ about their vacation in Aruba. Marc Shear, repeat guest from New York and loyal listener of WCBS expressed his positive experiences with the Aruba Marriott, Aruba and its people. First time visitors Tom and Tracy from Sufran, New York enjoyed their vacation so far celebrating Tracy’s birthday in Aruba. Kevin and Lorraine from Long Island, New York were excited to meet the radio team, listening live to the broadcast and sending their greetings back home. Radio host Dan Taylor impressed the Marriott team remembering some Papiamento words from his previous visit in 2009 mentioning “con tai bai?” and “hopi bon” live on air. On Sunday, the crew enjoyed La Vista’s sumptuous Italian dinner buffet, complimenting the restaurant’s grouper and pasta. This is the second time, the radio team of WCBS visited Aruba and the Marriott for a live radio broadcast.
