DE PALM ISLAND - This past Saturday, the cast of the island's hottest show cooled off for a day on De Palm Island. The outing was well-earned for the group which has been working hard to bring Aruba its most spectacular live stage production yet in the form of D'Licious-a two hour music and dance extravaganza presented in a cabaret-style venue called Zissles, located at Paseo Herencia Mall.
The day on De Palm Island proved to be a great team-builder for the cast who arrived in July from Europe. All the performers are thrilled with the opportunity to live and work on Aruba, and have whole-heartedly embraced the local community, and have made a great effort to explore the island and meet the people in between their demanding rehearsal and performance schedules. The day on De Palm Island was filled with fun, and everyone took advantage of all the activities offered, including snorkeling with the famous blue parrot fish, beach volleyball, and the group's favorite adventure-the banana boat ride! The group stayed well-nourished throughout the day with a bountiful culinary buffet and open bar.
