PALM BEACH -- The Westin Resort, Aruba received a plaque from SITE ( Society of Incentive Travel Executives ) in grateful appreciation for the Westin's contribution to the success of the 2009 SITE International Conference held here on the island October 30 - November 2, 2009.
The event's planner, Heather Nash, mentioned that in her 20-plus years of event planning, her experience with the destination of Aruba and Westin in her planning of this conference was one of the best she has had. SITE members represent the top meeting, convention, and incentive travel executives around the world.
Hosting the organization's annual international conference was an opportune time to showcase the island and all that it has to offer for destination events, meetings, and conventions. The impact of the success of this conference and the great experiences the travel executives had on the island and with host hotel Westin will lead to the welcoming of many groups to Aruba over the next several years.
