"Between performances the artists were able to relax in the tropical and tranquil ambiance of Paradera Park".
Paradera Park accommodated the internationally recognized Cosy Cotton Band and Chicago Blues Artist Grana Louise during the 3rd Caribbean Sea Jazz Festival. Between performances the artists were able to relax in the tropical and tranquil ambiance of Paradera Park.
The Cosy Cotton Band was formed in 1986 and has toured the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium while also accompanying many American Blues players touring in Europe. The band was invited to play during significant Blues and Jazz Festivals, either as an opening act or joining programs with big names such as BB King, Ray Charles, Robert Cray, Blues Brothers Band, Johnny Adams, Chaka Kahn and many others.
Straight from the heart of Chicago, Grana Louise encompasses the Blues. Her impeccable timing and staging is keen, spiced with ribald fun and pizzazz that gives audiences a show to remember. Her background in professional theater and dance, lends itself wonderfully to her act.
This year, Blues fans could enjoy the Cosy Cotton Band performing with Grana Louise, taking them on a musical blues trip and adventure; starting in Chicago, travelling to the swamps of Louisiana and back.
