Westin welcomes ACE agents

PALM BEACH - On Thursday evening, the staff and management team of The Westin Resort, Aruba entertained visiting ACE agents during a welcome cocktail and hors d' oeuvres reception in their Starwood Gallery that features works from local artists.

ACE stands for Aruba Certified Experts, who are part of a group of more than a thousand travel agents from North America that have gone through a special certification program that educates them on the pleasures of the island so that they can better serve their clients and knowledgeably recommend Aruba as the top Caribbean destination that it is.

A group of more than 50 agents are here for several days to enjoy and explore the island first-hand as part of a familiarization trip sponsored by the Aruba Tourism Authority and the Aruba Hotel and Tourism Association. On Thursday evening, the V.I.P. travel agents toured the property of the newly-renovated Westin prior to the cocktail party.
